Very messy admin, put the lessons on different location, always delayed reply and wrong answers given. Most instructors not tailoring the lesson to match the stage the children are in. They still keep teaching Stage 1 for a Stage 2 student.
When Covid hit during early 2020, we supported Fitness Champs after receiving email/message from them claiming that Fitness Champs coaches have been badly impacted due to lockdown resulting unstable income. We did not suspend our child's lessons as we think our coop helps these coaches to get some income. However, during this period, Fitness Champs started to change coaches without our notice; not that they changed just 1 coach but 2, 3 or even 4 coaches consecutively and ended up including coaches who do not know the technical aspect of coaching. They do not even know certain strokes; mind you, these are their own coaches who are certified to coach but do not seem to be able to teach certain strokes. This happens multiple times across a number of coaches and led us to stoop down to request that our child's lessons be stopped as we see this is more like a 'testing' or 'experiment' period for Fitness Champs to try out their 'trainers' which should have not been done on students who signed up for different levels. We brought this up to Alan the owner who proceeded to cover up all the discrepancies by saying 'being a responsible company' which we do not see so at all. If not that we have given a decent period, 1 year to Fitness Champs to stabilize their business in view of Covid 19 and then only change coaches again and again over a short period, we would have 'completed' our reviews on them much earlier. Be careful when signing up your child with Fitness Champs - you are signing up a ROLLERCOASTER ride with them. We have brought this up to Sport Singapore as well in April 2021 and are awaiting further clarification from them.
Thank you Fitness Champs for the invitation to Stroke Clinic series 1, and for this valuable lesson. Bella said she really enjoys learning strokes from Aidan Koh and from the rest of the coaches. According to Bella, she gets to swim faster and learns new techniques as compared to her normal SwimSafer lessons currently with NYP. Bella also said you guys take care of her when she cuts her finger and is always nearby to 'cuddle' her when she is tired. This is a different experience altogether for Bella. She said she learns a lot as Aidan and the other nice coaches teach really well. All these feedback is from Bella, totally unsolicited.
