Coffee & Toast reviews
The corner shop is right outside one of Esplanade MRT exit. The price was very affordable for a Singaporean breakfast. We ordered Set A (kaya butter toast, coffee & 2 soft boiled egg), chwee kueh, and a combo of chee cheong fun & soon kueh. …
I love laksa the most. It is priced at $5.50. The gravy has the right thickness. The bowl has thick beehon, fishcake slices, 1 boiled egg, and several fried taupok (spongy tofu). …
The kind of local coffee spot that's got all the basics right, great coffee, crisp toast and soft boiled eggs with unbroken yolks but remain perfectly runny. …

The kind of local coffee spot that's got all the basics right, great coffee, crisp toast and soft boiled eggs with unbroken yolks but remain perfectly runny.
The coffee was strong and rich, and the toast was crispy with a generous slather of kaya and butter. The soft boiled eggs were perfectly cooked with runny yolks.
The kopi here is thick and fragrant, just the way I like it. The kaya toast is also very good, with a nice balance of sweetness and butteriness.
The nasi lemak is a must-try here. The rice is fragrant and fluffy, and the sambal is spicy and flavourful. The fried chicken wing is also very crispy and delicious.
The service here is friendly and efficient. The staff are always smiling and ready to help. The atmosphere is also very cosy and welcoming.
The chwee kueh here is one of the best I've had in Singapore. The rice cakes are soft and silky, and the preserved radish is savoury and fragrant.
The teh here is very good, with a nice balance of sweetness and milkiness. The kaya toast is also very tasty, with a generous amount of kaya and butter.
The mee siam here is very flavourful and spicy, with a good balance of sourness and sweetness. The gravy is thick and rich, and the noodles are cooked just right.
The kopi here is one of the best in town. It's strong and fragrant, with a nice kick of bitterness. The kaya toast is also very good, with a crispy texture and a generous amount of kaya and butter.
The laksa here is very good, with a rich and flavourful gravy. The noodles are cooked just right, and the toppings are generous and delicious.
