I brought my dog in early July last year after he experienced sudden tetraplegia. Dr Sng Jia Qi was the ECC vet who saw my dog and thankfully with her expertise, she referred us to Dr Matthias Le Chevior. To our surprise, he was diagnoses with cervical IVDD with IVDD (type 2) rather than IVDD (type 1) as advised by the other vets in Singapore. Dr Matthias has never operated on a case like this before but together with his team, they saved my dog. My dog recently went for his review and we are happy to say that he has fully recovered. We have seen countless vets in different countries but we would say that Dr Matthias and his team are the best team so far. We highly recommend VES if you need urgent attention on your furkid especially if you have consulted other vets but cannot get a proper diagnosis.
Brought my beloved Crystal in after being referred to by Brighton Vet around March 2020. She was diagnosed with heart cancer and it caused pericardial effusion. She was not given much long to live and the “long term” surgical options did not offer her the preferred quality of life. Unfortunately Crystal fought very hard and the day that we brought her in, she passed away unexpectedly in my arms before they could help her. It was the saddest day ever and there were decisions that we had to think of at that point of time. Dr Nathalee Prakash spoke with us compassionately and understood every word that we said. She gave us the space and time to think through her health and was very respectful in the sense that she did not mention monetary terms or anything to make us feel pressurized. We decided on creamtion, which was arranged in-house followed by a few other visits for Crystal to perform regular TCVM treatment thru acupuncture. I must give a huge shout out to Dr Nathalee for supporting us thru this journey literally Bc we are still connected via whatsapp almost every month…! She is even currently helping Crystal’s brother Harry with kinematics. Truly a VESpet indeed!
