Tian Yi reviews
Came across this very old school dessert stall in North Bridge food centre. Was quite intrigued by the red bean mix green bean soup so I decided to order and try. And wow I was blown away by the taste of it! …
Was here on Saturday late morning and had their Tau suan (S$2) and was amazed by the generous portion of sliced fried you tiao [photo 1]. Unfortunately these sliced fried you tiao were dense ☹️. While the tau suan wasn’t too sweet, the mung beans were slightly tough and would taste better if they were steamed slightly longer.
Value for money dessert stall, serving only warm desserts, the old school way. Lots of ingredients in my bowl of bo bo cha cha… yam, sweet potatoes, etc… so satisfying!

The red bean mix green bean soup was really delicious. The beans were cooked perfectly and the taste was just right. Highly recommend!
I ordered the Tau suan and it was okay. The you tiao was a bit dense and the mung beans were a bit tough. But overall, it was still a decent dessert.
Tian Yi Hawker Stall is a hidden gem in North Bridge food centre. Their bo bo cha cha is the best I've ever had. The combination of yam and sweet potatoes is perfection.
I had the red bean mix green bean soup and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were superb and the portion was generous. Will definitely be back for more.
The Tau suan was not bad, but it wasn't anything special either. The you tiao was a bit dense and the mung beans were a bit tough. It's worth a try, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.
I was craving for a warm dessert and stumbled upon Tian Yi. I ordered the bo bo cha cha and it was amazing. The yam and sweet potatoes were soft and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit.
The red bean mix green bean soup was a delightful surprise. The flavors were balanced and the texture was perfect. Highly recommend trying it.
The Tau suan was decent, but nothing spectacular. The you tiao was a bit dense and the mung beans were a bit tough. It's worth a try if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here specifically for it.
I tried the bo bo cha cha and it was really good. The yam and sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly and the flavors were on point. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a warm dessert.
