Enrolled our son with TLL Seletar since K2 till last month P2 first term. Their teaching is not align with the MOE and he got confused with different methods. As we looked into it we found that especially the maths, subtractions, she teach in completely non standard methods which can only confuse the child. Even the English grammer, parts and verbs, already very confusing for child but she go into tenses and what not. I do not recall that ever at P2 MOE, they started using all those symbol and numbers in language also, trying to make it more difficult as the child grow up... And eventually we decided to quit the CC and now he is back to normal syllabus and is playing instead of be taught nonsense and have to keep up with other CC activity and writing a journal every week. It’s better he spend his holidays or family time rather than doing nothing meaningful at his growing stage or learning nonsense in nonsense method. I can say this branch is the worse of all TLL branch we happened to chanced upon. Another branch is much much better! Hence TLL can’t even keep it consistent across branches - which makes well established Marina Bay Sands CC to be unreachable by people staying in the east (specifically in Punggol area) and it’s became such a distance and torture for parents driving from Punggol only to be met by the super arrogant and very very unfair and money grabbing TLL. They keep changing policies and schedules and shezule ONLY TO YOUR DISADVANTAGE. This Marina Bay Sands CC really is very arbitrary decisions and done in such unfair manner and worst, always to the disadvantage of us and asking us to compromise. We are now very tired and we may want to propose legal fight here - anyone interested in joining forces with us?

Anyone keen to pursue a legal fight against TLL jointly? What gives them the right to force parents to pay upfront for lessons and then insist on e-learning with no other alternatives in the face of an island-wide lockdown?

Very money-minded, inflexible, and arrogant management. The team follows the same principles. It’s always one way where they don’t listen to parents' feedback and keep changing their schedules and policies at will. In short, it's like leave if you want to, we don't care.

Enrolled my child in TLL Seletar Mall for tuition since K2 till last month of P2 first term. The teaching methods used were not aligned with MOE and my child got confused with the different approaches. After looking into it, I found that especially for Maths, the teacher taught in non-standard methods which only served to confuse my child. Even for English grammar, when my child was still struggling to grasp the basic concepts of parts of speech and verbs, the teacher introduced tenses and other advanced concepts. I don't recall MOE introducing all those symbols and numbers in language at the P2 level, and it only made it more difficult for my child as he grew older. Eventually, I decided to withdraw my child from TLL and put him back into the regular school syllabus. Now, he is back to normal and can enjoy his holidays and family time instead of wasting time on meaningless activities and following nonsensical teaching methods. I would say that this branch of TLL is the worst of all the branches we have come across. Another branch is much better in comparison. So it seems that TLL is not consistent across all branches, which is a shame. Additionally, the Marina Bay Sands branch is very inconvenient for people living in the east, specifically in the Punggol area. It is quite a distance and a hassle for parents to drive all the way from Punggol, and to be met with super arrogant and unfair treatment from TLL. They keep changing policies and schedules, always to the disadvantage of the parents. The Marina Bay Sands branch is known for making arbitrary decisions, and they are done in an unfair manner. Worst of all, these decisions always seem to be to our disadvantage and they expect us to just accept it. We are extremely tired and are even considering legal action against TLL. Is there anyone else interested in joining us?

My child has been enrolled in TLL Seletar since K2 and is now in P2. The teaching methods used are not aligned with MOE and I see that my child is getting confused with the different approaches. I noticed that particularly in Maths, the teacher uses non-standard methods which only serve to confuse my child. Even in English grammar, my child is struggling with the basic concepts such as parts of speech and verbs, but the teacher introduces tenses and other advanced concepts. It is not necessary at this stage. I also don't recall MOE introducing all those symbols and numbers in language at the P2 level. It only makes it more difficult for my child as he grows older. I believe it is better for my child to follow the regular school syllabus and spend his holidays and family time doing meaningful activities. I have decided to withdraw my child from TLL and find a better tuition center. TLL Seletar is definitely not recommended.

We enrolled our son with TLL Seletar when he was in K2 and continued till the first term of P2. However, we found that the teaching methods at TLL were not aligned with the MOE syllabus. Our child got confused with the different methods especially in Maths, where non-standard methods were used for subtraction. Even in English grammar, advanced concepts were introduced too early, causing confusion. We decided to withdraw our child from TLL and now he is back to following the regular syllabus. It is better for him to spend his holidays and family time instead of learning in a confusing method.

I enrolled my child at TLL Seletar Mall when she was in K2. She continued with the tuition until the first term of P2. However, I found that the teaching methods used at TLL were not aligned with the MOE syllabus. I noticed that especially in Maths, the teacher used non-standard methods for subtraction, which only confused my child. Even in English grammar, the teacher introduced advanced concepts too early, which my child was not ready for. I do not recall this being taught at the P2 level according to MOE. Eventually, I decided to withdraw my child from TLL and now she is back to following the regular school syllabus. It is better for her to spend her time on meaningful activities and enjoy her holidays and family time. I would not recommend TLL Seletar Mall as a tuition center.

This has caused my child to become confused and struggle with the different approaches. In particular, the Maths methods used are non-standard and only serve to confuse my child. Additionally, the introduction of advanced English grammar concepts at an early stage has further contributed to my child's confusion.
