Tan Teng Niah reviews
Nestled around shops and restaurant this colorful Chinese house in little India provides a glimpse of days past. You'd have to jostle with others to get a clear picture of the whole of this place so better yet drop by early. #RP
Having spent my whole life in Tekka, it had never occurred to me to visit Mr Tan Teng Niah's House until around 2020. I only took a short look around and was not keen on sticking around, considering the surroundings. …
Delayed review. Came here around 7:55am on a Saturday. There were already a few people & tourists taking photos. Was passing by so made a quick check out of this place. The locals normally will not show up here unless accompanying their curious guests. Overall good to know some history of this building.

I was not impressed with Tan Teng Niah's House. The area was crowded and noisy, and the house itself was not well-maintained. It didn't live up to the hype.

The architecture of Tan Teng Niah's House is beautiful, but it was difficult to fully appreciate it due to the number of people. I would suggest going during off-peak hours to have a better experience.
