We started our junior squad journey when our daughter turned 7. From being fearful of the massive 50m pool, fear of the height of the starting block, fear of crowds at competitions… in the past 14 months, she’s overcome every single one of her fears and improved so much not only in swimming skill but also in character – resilience, determination, perseverance… Coach Wei is attentive, firm yet kind-hearted. She is firm when needed and will not settle for shortcuts. She values hard work, discipline and character building. She is patient, able to explain difficult techniques to juniors. My daughter endured, improved over time and now she feels unsupported by the coaches. We’ve seen so many users’ reviw on platforms like Google (never trust – am I right?). So many competitors post fake review. We have been with a program and our journey with them has been so assuring as they genuinely want the kids to succeed, we know that improvement is not just to keep us going and paying fees.
