Sri Temasek reviews
Have never been to the Istana before, thought won’t be many people this Chinese new year, I was completely wrong. Reached around 8:45am, already long queue in front. Entrance fee is free for residents and $2 for the rest. The entrance fee …
Lovely..our Singapore 'palace'.Proud that global dignitries get to dine and visit our president here.Beautiful view of MBS from the fountain garden.Appreciate the open house and visit to the grand Istana.
Unfortunately this building is not open to public during the Istana open house. It's the building where the cabinet meetings are held. The rest of the Istana grounds are certainly worth visiting. Did not realize such a huge and lovely garden next to Orchard Road.

Have never been to the Istana before, thought won’t be many people this Chinese new year, I was completely wrong. Reached around 8:45am, already long queue in front. Entrance fee is free for residents and $2 for the rest. The entrance fee was reasonable. The overall experience was good, although there were a lot of people. The staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds were beautiful, with a lovely garden and a fountain. I enjoyed the visit and would recommend it.
Lovely experience at the Sri Temasek Monument. It's like our Singapore 'palace' and I am proud that global dignitaries get to dine and visit our president here. The view of Marina Bay Sands from the fountain garden is beautiful. The open house is a great opportunity to visit the grand Istana. The overall experience was fantastic. I rate it 5 out of 5.
Unfortunately, the Sri Temasek Monument is not open to the public during the Istana open house. However, the rest of the Istana grounds are definitely worth visiting. The garden is huge and lovely. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a peaceful oasis next to Orchard Road. I would rate the grounds 4 out of 5.
I have never been to the Istana before, so I thought there wouldn't be many people this Chinese New Year. I was completely wrong. When I reached around 8:45am, there was already a long queue in front. The entrance fee is free for residents and $2 for non-residents, which I think is reasonable. The overall experience was good, despite the crowd. I rate it 4 out of 5.
