This is a street skatepark with a designated half pipe for beginners, a flat ground section, BMX section stairsets, down rails and flat bars. By far it is the best skatepark in Singapore if you want to have a good session with the local skateboarding community of Singapore ???? …
Used to be a really fun park to skate, but the recent competition redesign made it a lot worse. No more flat rail, no long ledge/curb/manual pad, ~70% of the park is virtually unused at any given moment, because the new features just aren't great and people don't enjoy skating them. Unfortunate.
I suggest them to put funky or lounge chill musix to spice up the skatepark it’s too blank at the Somerset park not much people recognise the place. Musix like Night Dubbin - San Juan five-0 by Dimitri from Paris, also a great park to attract tourism. Almost can set up like a stage for live bands.
