Qing Yuan Fish Soup 慶源鱼汤 reviews
The Ngoh Xiang was very good, probably the best that I have tried. Ironically, the Batang Fish Soup was disappointing. The soup was pretty good but the fish slices were coated with so much corn starch that they had this very slimy texture. The amount of fish was also quite meagre at $8.
Overall pretty good. The Blue Cod Fish Soup was pretty tasty with thick slices of cod fish, Seafood Soup was enjoyable with fresh seafood and tasty soup. The winner for me was however the Deep Fried Pomfret w/ HK Soy Sauce, so yummy! Besides that, they also sell Homemadr Ngoh Hiang here to pair with the fish soup.
Edit Aug 2022: still really good. Fresh slices of batang fish, super flavorful soup and perfect Ngoh Hiang. Noticed there is a slight change in the name, perhaps due to a partner leaving? But quality the same. …
