Original Chew Kee Eating House (Chew Kee Soy Sauce Chicken) reviews
Chicken tender and juicy, very well done. Can’t say the same on the noodle though. Noodle still rid of unwashed flour taste. Not ideal. Dumpling soup ok. Love their braised tofu. Air conditioning dinning area.
Lovely braised soy sauce that sets it apart from the regular Joe. Fragrance and rich in flavours. $16 for half a chick. Chicken texture is not over cooked and without raw redness. Pairs well with the al dente noodles. Would recommend their dumplings too. Very decent ???? …
Have being coming here for over 15 years. Brought my family today to try. But I have to say the standard dropped significantly over the years. Can’t say if it was due to chicken supply issue or Chef change. The chicken just does not taste as nice as previously

The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The noodles, however, had an unpleasant taste of unwashed flour. The dumpling soup was alright, nothing special. The braised tofu, on the other hand, was delicious. The dining area had air conditioning.
I've been a loyal customer for many years, but the quality has noticeably declined recently. The chicken doesn't taste as good as it used to, and I'm not sure if it's due to a change in suppliers or chefs. Disappointing.
The chicken was tender and well-cooked. The noodles, however, still had a strong taste of unwashed flour, which was not ideal. The dumpling soup was average, but I really enjoyed the braised tofu. The restaurant had air conditioning.
The braised soy sauce at this restaurant is amazing. It adds a unique fragrance and rich flavor to the chicken. The price of half a chicken is $16, and the texture of the chicken is perfect. It pairs well with the al dente noodles. The dumplings are also good. Highly recommended.

The braised soy sauce at this restaurant is delicious and sets it apart from others. The chicken is not overcooked and has no raw redness. It goes well with the al dente noodles. I would also recommend trying their dumplings. Overall, a very decent dining experience.
I have been a regular customer for many years, but I must say that the quality of the food has declined significantly over time. I can't pinpoint if it's due to a shortage of chicken supply or a change in the chef. The chicken just doesn't taste as good as it used to.
