Oriental Desserts reviews
The peanut soup was a tad too sweet for my liking. The stall at Golden Mile Hawker has better peanut soup. The tang yuan balls in the soy milk was way too soft, not sure if the soy milk was too hot! Not your typical dessert shop, they take slightly longer to serve the desserts.
Chance upon this dessert shop when we were looking for traditional singapore dessert and decided to give it a try. Decor simple and welcoming. Dessert was above average. The Peanut and Black Sesame paste was quite watery (dumplings was add on).
Liked the aesthetics of the place. It closes fairly late, and the boss is super friendly. However the desert I ordered..was quite bad. The glutinous rice ball overcooked and the filling super sweet. The soup was sooo gingery that it was hardly palatable. (I let others try and they can’t even drink it so its not just me..)
