Excellent vibe, food and sake! Tried two different bottles and we really enjoyed both. The food was so delicious, even the simple lotus root chips. It was fun chatting with the staff cos they are knowledgeable about sake and are able to explain in layman terms to us. A great place to hang out. Bit pricey.
One of those places you’re happy to spend your money to support people who f’ing love their job and are very good at what they do. Alex and team are knowledgeable, passionate and have picked the best sake in Singapore. The food is excellent also! Treat yourself and nerd out on fascinating new sake choices.
We were sitting at the counter seats and we felt at home with Bonez recommending us the popular dishes and his extensive knowledge of sake, and he is actually quite an entertainer. Food was great, and the whole place is very cosy. Also, thank you for the complimentary birthday sake!
