Located opposite of the NUS University Cultural Center (NUS UCC), the NUS Museum is a nice place to visit if you are in the campus. This museum distinguishes itself from the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) by focusing on the history of NUS itself, as well as other Southeast Asian art and culture. The museum is split into several galleries, each with their own theme and collection. Some of the galleries include the Southeast Asian Ceramics gallery, the Wang Gungwu gallery, and the Art + Nature gallery. The museum is not very big, but it has a variety of artifacts and artworks on display. It is a good place to spend a couple of hours exploring and learning about the history and culture of this region.
