Floor manager of this outlet should reconsider your staff. Three staff talking away gossiping in the kitchen out loud, with mask down, in turn causing slow service. I don’t think they cleaned the steaming baskets properly before they serve …

Had been to 313 Mall Food Court several times, but somehow 'missed' the Nam Heong stall at one end of the food court. Saw it yesterday when I was bringing tea to my lunch table. What caught my attention was really the oven at the rear of the stall. It was big and seemed quite special. A few bread items were being baked at the back and transported to the display area at the front, piping hot. So I decided to try and here I am. I liked the Char Siew Puff. Also bought the golden Liu Sha Bao or Salted Egg Custard Bun. It was a pleasure biting into the bun and having the salted egg custard FLOWING out after the first bite. Very good. Dunno how they keep the salted egg custard so moist and hot. A good dim sum and snack shop.
Bought 2 Nam Heong Char Siew Puffs , one eaten fresh off the oven on the spot, the other brought home to add to my breakfast plate the next day. Both tasted just as delicious but of course, the one eaten fresh off the oven is CRISPY in the outer layer. Seriously, the puff is flaky and the char siew filling isn't all that sweet. It tastes just right; not too sweet and not too salty.
