Moomoo started off well where the benefits are good. However disappointed that some US stocks cannot be purchased after being bought over by other companies, hence causing losses in my portfolio. Will not trade with Moomoo anymore.
For a platform touting use of tech and AI to support investment, it’s quite a disappointment. I recently had to transfer some stocks out of Moomoo, and the P/L trend info went haywire. It reflected a loss equivalent to the transferred-out stocks, but the transferred-in stocks showed no P/L. The overall figures were all over the place. I wrote in to report the issue so hopefully they could rectify it before I transferred out the remaining stocks. It’s more than a week but no one has responded to me. It’s quite a shame to leave this way after supporting them in Lime Trader days, seeing how they touted AI but failed to deliver.
I have used many trading platforms including with banks, DBS Vickers, IB, POEMS (lousiest), Tiger and Moomoo. Frankly, I enjoy using Moomoo. It's UI is easy to use, investing in funds is easy and transparent. I especially like how clear the fees are with no hidden costs and easy to understand and follow. So I think Moomoo deserves support as a competitor for the major trading platforms.
