The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hall was built as a tribute to the leader of India’s independence movement, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869–1948). I have been to this place for the last two weekends hoping to get inside and explore the memorial, but unfortunately, it has been closed both times. It was disappointing and I hope they open it soon.
Excellent renovation and a great place for Indian classical music & arts. The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hall is now known as the SIFAS Annexe. The facilities and amenities are top-notch. The concert hall has brilliant acoustics and it is a pleasure to listen to music here. The art gallery is also well-curated. I highly recommend visiting this place.
