LUCE by Davide Giacomelli reviews
Contrary to its name, Luce is dimly lit and the chairs are uncomfortably low. Maybe it’s suitable for a romantic dinner. …
Came here for the lunch semi buffet at 48++. Cheese and bread and semi buffet selection was okay, quite tasty italian selection including the dessert. Main wise was abit so so i feel. Fish was a bit tad salty and the chicken wasnt so tasty. Overall a good try, great and friendly staff as well.

Tried their one year anniversary exclusive one-night only four-hands collaboration between Chef de Cuisine Davide Giacomelli and Italian Michelin Starred Chef Francesco Gasbarro, on 9 June 2023!
The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The dim lighting added to the ambiance. The chairs, however, were uncomfortable and low, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The menu had a good variety of Italian dishes for the lunch buffet, but the main dishes lacked flavor. The fish was overly salty and the chicken was bland. The dessert selection was the highlight of the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the dining experience.
I visited Luce for a special collaboration event between Chef Davide Giacomelli and Chef Francesco Gasbarro. The event was held for the restaurant's one-year anniversary. The dinner was exceptional, showcasing the culinary talents of both chefs. The dishes were innovative and delicious, and it was a unique dining experience. I highly recommend trying Luce for special events and collaborations.
Luce is a great place for a romantic dinner. The dimly lit ambiance creates an intimate atmosphere. However, the low chairs were uncomfortable and made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. The lunch semi buffet was decent, with a good selection of Italian dishes. The cheese, bread, and desserts stood out the most. The main dishes were average, with the fish being a bit too salty and the chicken lacking flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the meal.
I recently dined at Luce and was disappointed with the overall experience. The restaurant's name suggests a bright and inviting atmosphere, but it was actually quite dimly lit. The chairs were uncomfortably low, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The lunch semi buffet had a decent selection of Italian dishes, including cheese and bread. However, the main dishes were mediocre, with the fish being too salty and the chicken lacking taste. The dessert selection was good, though. The staff was friendly and attentive, which was a redeeming factor.
Luce is a cozy Italian restaurant perfect for a romantic dinner. The dim lighting adds to the intimate atmosphere, but the low chairs are not the most comfortable. I tried the lunch semi buffet, and while the cheese, bread, and semi buffet selection were tasty, the main dishes were average. The fish was too salty and the chicken lacked flavor. Overall, it was a good experience, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
I had the pleasure of dining at Luce for their one-year anniversary collaboration event. Chef Davide Giacomelli and Chef Francesco Gasbarro created an exquisite menu for the special occasion. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It was a memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend Luce for special events or celebrations.
Luce is a charming Italian restaurant that offers a romantic dining experience. The dim lighting sets the mood, but the low chairs are not the most comfortable for long meals. I tried the lunch semi buffet, and it was a decent experience. The cheese, bread, and semi buffet selection were enjoyable, especially the desserts. However, the main dishes were a bit lackluster. The fish was too salty, and the chicken was bland. The staff was friendly and attentive, which was a plus.
I recently dined at Luce for a special collaboration event between Chef Davide Giacomelli and Chef Francesco Gasbarro. It was a one-night-only experience for the restaurant's one-year anniversary. The dinner was outstanding, with an exceptional menu showcasing the talents of both chefs. Each dish was a work of art and bursting with flavors. The ambiance was also lovely, and the staff provided excellent service throughout the evening. I highly recommend trying Luce for special events or occasions.
Luce may be named after light, but it is actually quite dimly lit. The low chairs also make for an uncomfortable dining experience. However, it does create a romantic atmosphere. I tried the lunch semi buffet and found the cheese, bread, and semi buffet selection to be enjoyable. The main dishes were average, with the fish being too salty and the chicken lacking flavor. The dessert selection was the highlight of the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience.
