Kuriya has very affordable don and bento sets that are value for money for the quality of food. I eat it often as it's my favourite fast fix for japanese food. My favourites are the salmon teriyaki don, oyako don, gyu stamina don, salmon sashimi don. Pair it with miso soup and chawanmushi set for a complete meal.
Ordered 2 sushi/sashimi platters for my house party on Sat 28 Jan. Email confirmation of payment and delivery between 5.30-6pm received yesterday. Called them at 6.30pm when nothing had arrived and to my horror, no one even answered the phone! Called a few times after that - still no answer! Eventually the delivery came at 7.15pm. The delivery staff doesn't even seem apologetic, just letting me know that it is still within the delivery time frame. 30 mins late is acceptable?! I wasted all my phone calls on you! You do know how many guests I had to serve don't you. By the time the sushi/sashimi arrived, they were not even cold any more. Demand downward adjustment in pricing, for the extra time waiting.!
