Stayed at L'Hotel de Jurong for about 2 years. The beds are certainly not the highlight; most of them are metal with a sponge layer and look like they date back to pre-war days. The staff were always shouting at us; but towards the end of my stay, they seemed to have calmed down a bit. The facilities were mediocre at best, with very limited options for entertainment. The food in the cookhouse was passable, nothing to write home about. Overall, my experience at Jurong Camp was not the most pleasant.
