Visited this branch a few times. Even though the official closing time is 9pm, I got turned away rudely thrice at 8.15pm by the younger lady manning the shop. (The items weren’t sold out, you can see the waffle batter still sitting on the counter) The strange thing is, four decently-dressed young teenagers were also turned away at the same time. Why can't analyze and assess whether to serve or not? Can’t be because we looked like we were waiting for Grab or food delivery. Couldn’t explain to the grab driver that I had to get off the bus to make a purchase as I was hungry. I really enjoyed your egg tart, even though the tart crust has shrunk in size by 50% over 6 months. Shame! Such a pity! I’m sad.
The egglets themselves are decent, but the staff in general just ruin the whole experience. Being told i cannot take away, changing closing times willy nilly, having a line halfway down the street at opening time and then seeing the place empty after i get in. Just odd vibes.
I give 1 star for egg waffle batter that tasted perfect with condense milk and strawberry ice cream I added using my waffle press at home. But service this afternoon at Kallang wave branch was really bad. Lady incharge didn't ask for my preference and kept quite alive phonn handset. I was standing there for a while before she attended to me.
Extremely rude service. She refused to take my order and gave an attitude for no reason. There was no line when I arrived, and when someone else arrived she gave him the attitude as well. She was on the phone during the whole time she was serving me. Took my order, then when my waffle was ready she was nowhere to be found so somebody else brought it out. She also refused to take any money from me because she was on the phone. I really doubt they make their waffles fresh and to order, but even if they do this still may have been one of the worst experiences I've had with ordering food. Do not recommend!

Food is quite good, and the interior design is also unique and nice. I will definitely visit this place again.
Very disappointed with the staff's service attitude. When I went to buy, an Indian employee told the lady at the counter that I only wanted to buy custard egg tarts without buying other cakes. The moment she heard that she said nonchalantly sorry we only have large egg tarts. Actually as long as there is fruit on the surface, it can be considered.
The staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. I've visited this place a couple of times and every time I go I am greeted with condescending looks and annoyed attitudes from the staff. I really don't understand why they are so bothered by customers coming in and ordering food, isn't that the whole point of their job? Definitely will not be returning to this place.

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about, I've been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the egg tarts, they are to die for!
