THINK TWICE BEFORE ENGAGE COMFORT KEEPERS (NOBLE CARE PTE LTD) I engaged comfort keepers to provide caregiver service to my dad. I have listed numerous errors and issues below: 1) The management of comfort keepers does not seem to understand the meaning of service. When there is a problem with the caregiver, instead of solving it, they push the responsibility to the client. They put pressure on the client and have the audacity to say no one else was complaining. 2) There was a caregiver who came to my house to assist my dad. Apart from the fact that she had difficulty speaking English, she did not demonstrate any basic caregiving skills. She did not even know how to shower a bedridden patient, which is a basic skill for a caregiver. 3) On one particular day, the caregiver did not come and did not even inform me. I had to call comfort keepers to find out where she was. They told me that she was on medical leave, but no one had bothered to notify me. 4) They also frequently send different caregivers for my dad, causing a lack of continuity and confusion. 5) When I shared my feedback about the caregiver with the management, they were defensive and ignored the feedback. They only focused on blaming the client instead of trying to solve the problem. 6) The management also does not seem to communicate effectively with the caregivers. Several caregivers have expressed difficulties understanding the client's needs and routines. My overall experience with Comfort Keepers has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would caution anyone who is considering engaging their services to think twice and weigh the risks before making a decision.
