This HBPTC is not transparent. In the media release, HBPTC had announced that S&CC increase for commercial space will range from $0.01 to $0.40 per sqm a month from Jul 2023. However, in fact, the increase for my commercial space is at a higher rate than what was announced. This is a clear lack of transparency from HBPTC.
Inflation is at 5%, but they raise their S&CC charges at more than 5% every year. This is not fair to us as business owners. HBPTC should review their charges and ensure they are aligned with the current economic conditions.
