Went to try the vegetarian stall and enjoyed a thoroughly delicious vegan olive rice bowl - a very generous portion too ???? …
Ordered kopi gao siew dai. Very strong coffee taste. I like. Surprisingly crowded here at around 4.30pm on a Monday. The arrangement of tables is like school canteen - rectangular tables joined together. Round tables form the perimeter. There’s a giant fan and many smaller fans around, very cooling.
The centre seems shabby and rundown. Although many stalls sell fairly priced and very good and varied cuisines, it just seems an unappealing space for a family man or a young couple. Too many old, loud, beer drinking uncles encourage people to take away their meals.
