Goro Japanese Cuisine reviews
Reminds me of the neighbourhood sushi place in Kyushu. Sashimi is thick and fresh. Worth coming back. Pricing comparable to franchise stores but portions are a lot better.

Went there for a casual dinner with a friend. The sashimi is fresh and the food is well prepared and reasonably priced. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Holland Village area. We had the mini Kaiseiki 6 course dinner ($59) plus a bottle of sake. I’m n fact, the dinner was so good we both forgot to take photos of the sashimi

This is a pretty small restaurant, and so the seating can be a little cramped. I got the Unagi set meal, which came with miso soup, and a warm lobster salad side. First of all, that lobster salad was amazing. The lobster had just the right seasoning and was so tender. The unagi itself was also extremely tasty, with a nice crispy skin. The miso soup was flavorful and the portion was just right. Overall, a great meal and I would definitely come back for more.

The seating in this restaurant is a bit cramped due to its small size. However, the Unagi set meal I had was delicious. The warm lobster salad side was especially amazing, with perfectly seasoned lobster that was tender. The unagi itself was also tasty with a crispy skin. The miso soup was flavorful and just the right portion. Overall, it was a great meal and I would love to go back for more.
