Installed a blind from this shop and it smelled foul. Notified the person in charge and she just insisted the smell was due to the new material. Until today, still have remnant odour after cleaning it with Dettol and airing it with open windows. Can someone advise whether this smell is hazardous or not?

Very expensive prices if you reveal that you stay private property. Double of what other shops charge.
