Food Canopy - Singapore Polytechnic Food Court 6 reviews
I only ordered from 3 stalls ever, the high-fat Malay food stall (chicken's a bit too oily), the other lower-in-fat Malay food stall (try their scrambled eggs) and the waffle stall. All three have good service.
Reasonably priced food if you know what to get. Avoid the Yong Tau Fu, but try the Japanese, Western, vegetarian, and chicken rice at least once. The prawn noodles soup is nourishing on a rainy wet day. Check SP academic calendar before coming as this place is closed during vacation time.
Best part about this food court is that some of the stores and their food remain exactly like how they were more than 20 years ago. …

The high-fat Malay food stall serves delicious chicken, but it can be a bit too oily. The other Malay food stall has great scrambled eggs. The waffle stall also has good service.
The Japanese, Western, vegetarian, and chicken rice stalls offer reasonably priced food. Avoid the Yong Tau Fu stall. The prawn noodles soup is comforting on a rainy day. Note that the food court is closed during school vacations.
One of the best things about this food court is that some of the stalls have maintained their original recipes and flavors for over 20 years.
I've tried the high-fat Malay food stall and the waffle stall, and both have provided good service. The other Malay food stall is known for their delicious scrambled eggs.
If you know what to order, you can get reasonably priced food from this food court. I recommend trying the Japanese, Western, vegetarian, and chicken rice stalls. However, the Yong Tau Fu stall is better to be avoided. The prawn noodle soup is especially comforting on a rainy day. Keep in mind that the food court is closed during vacation time.
One of the highlights of this food court is that some of the stalls have maintained their original recipes and flavors for more than 20 years.
