Terrible experience at Downtown East DDB. Was there with my family yst for dinner(29th July, 540pm). We order the 4 pax BBQ Buffet, noodles and dumplings. 1. Service of your crew is terrible. I used to work in a restaurant as well and I must say the level of attentiveness is really quite pathetic. 2. The restock of the raw meat is so slow. Close to half an hour for every kind of meat. It took 50 mins to half an hour just to get the pork belly restocked. Are your chef paid on commissions? 3. The pork is tasteless. We didnt even finish the pork belly and collar. 4. The noodle and dumpling are tasteless as well. Not much ingredients in the dumpling. 5. The marination of the meat is not tasty(especially the pork), my family did not enjoy the taste. The only thing that is nice is actually the fried chicken wings. 6. The odour is sucky. The toilet is a mix between a necrotic wound and vomit mixed with stomach acid. Close the kitchen window, the wind brings a mix of smell of smoke and odour to us. 7. The air conditioning is good. Cooling which is good as its in an open area. 8. Best of all. Your staff did not inform me what I cant even substitute the kind of meat. The masking tape doesnt work(thankfully my heat resistance is high). Feeling conned. 9. No reservation and staff told us that table would be ready at 7 for outside seats? Like duno? Totally spoilt my dinner totally. Not bringing my family there again for sure.
