Did some research prior to coming down. Read some positive reviews on Ruys, and requested for an appointment. Some noteworthy observations: - No hard-sell. Allowed me to take all the time in the world to select the garments I wanted, tried on whatever I desired, etc. - Very good selection of fabrics. The best I have come across in Singapore. - Excellent workmanship. No need to go to Italy. Don’t forget to ask for details of certain garments. They are pretty fascinated by some of their techniques which you can’t get elsewhere. - Nice if you want something that fits well but looks natural – I think they do a certain cut where the blazer slopes in toward the waist which is very flattering.
