Was looking forward to my walk this morning to Coney Island from the East gate. To my horror there were so much construction work going on, stretching along estimated 1/3 of the Island length. Wonder how all these construction work is affecting the natural environment and wildlife on the island. It was quite disappointing as I couldn't fully enjoy the hike.
An islands full of trees with a walkway connecting to the main land. Being here a few times. Very good for casual walks in anytime, even in the afternoon, the sun will be blocked by the trees. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing hike.
