I grew up in this neighbourhood, and I was looking forward to a good dessert bowl of cheng tun but was left disappointed that the century-old stall was closed. The noodle at the 'The Good Old place' was not too bad, but the vinegar pork was lacking in flavor.

The hawker centre has a good variety of food stalls and options. The satay stall is one of my favorites, the chicken and mutton satay skewers are delicious. The price is also affordable.

I always go to the hawker centre for breakfast and my go-to stall is the prata stall. Their plain prata with curry is always crispy and tasty. The teh tarik from the drink stall is also a must-try.

The fishball noodles from the fishball noodle stall are really good. The fishballs are fresh and bouncy, and the noodles are cooked just right. The chili sauce adds a nice kick to the dish.

The mixed vegetable rice stall in the hawker centre has a great selection of dishes. The braised pork belly and tofu are my favorites, and the prices are reasonable.

I tried the famous char kway teow from the char kway teow stall in the hawker centre and it lived up to the hype. The noodles were flavorful and had a good balance of sweetness and spiciness.

The chicken chop from the Western food stall is delicious. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the mushroom sauce is rich and flavorful. The portion size is also generous.

I had the bak kut teh from the bak kut teh stall in the hawker centre and it was amazing. The broth was flavorful and the pork ribs were tender. The youtiao (dough fritters) were also crispy and delicious.

The fried kway teow from the fried kway teow stall in the hawker centre is one of the best I've had. The noodles are perfectly fried and have a smoky flavor. The dish is packed with ingredients like prawns and cockles.

The laksa from the laksa stall in the hawker centre is a must-try. The broth is rich and creamy, and the noodles are chewy. The laksa is topped with ingredients like fishcake and prawns.
