Chye Seng Satay reviews
One of the only two satay stalls in Old Airport Road food center. Food is decent but the the pork satay is rather hard even when hot. They charge $2 for each stick of lamb satay and it’s quite normal and not really worth 2.5 times the price of a normal stick of satay. Sauce is quite nice though. They put pineapple purée in it.
Delicious satay at Chye Seng Satay in Old Airport Hawker Centre! Ordered 8 chicken satay and 2 mutton satay, for a total of SGD 10.40. The owner was very friendly, but spoke limited English. Would definitely visit again!
The pork satay tasted better than the chicken. The rice cake is nice and soft. The meat is a little dry but tasty. The peanut sauce is pretty good however the pineapple lack the sweet sour punch that we were expecting.
