I had a sagital band rupture. It’s been 2.5 months and healed completely. When i first saw dr aaron, he right away diagnose it as sagital band rupture and strongly suggested for me to have a surgery right away since according to him, If the tendon was allowed to elongate even a bit by natural healing , the rupture will not heal back like the original condition and the grip will be out of wack. After then , I did lots of research and it is true. Thus, i went ahead with surgery. The incission went well. I did not feel much post-op pain. I started with exercises in three days post-op. After about 10 days post op, i am allowed to see the Hand Therapists for the operating hospital. My exercise(the Codman exercise) coupled with therapist treatment helped achieved me my goal for full recovery - to be able to fully place hand on therapist's hand, side to side and pull. I could achieve my goal only 6 weeks post op. They are good.

I came in for a routine check up - ligament debridement and arthroscopy. Dr Aaron is professional and experienced in his field. There wasn’t really much waiting time for me. Everything went smoothly.
One sentence will described Dr Aaron Tan - He is a truly great surgeon. Not only had the Dr explained everything to me even I had a check up with him, he also understand what I am saying. He gave all explainations about Ulnar Variance, did a ultrasound by himself , then explained in details on the video that he found a TFCC tear from the arthroscopy. He let me see everything on the video then explained the damage of TFCC and what he had done in surgery and what will be done after op.
Dr Tan is very kind and patient, he explains well. I came in to his clinic as I had a Clicking MCP (bag of bones ) that cost severe pain in opposing thumb motion. I asked for a 2nd opinion. He explained to me what happened to the ligaments surrounding the thumb and TFCC tear + ulnar styloid. He understood my concerns and after that, he scheduled me for operation after physiotherapy did not work and increased pain, and he further explained to me that i have a Ulnar Carment Wrist. He booked me in PRMH elective. All went well. After surgery so far , I have yet to had any complaints. My wrist seems back to normal and my critic point was that i am able to do my basic daily activities and even back to gym work out. Thanks Dr Tan for that!

Staff and facilities are good only limited street parking. Pricey but good experience. However, limited Starbucks here but food is widely available

Dr Aaron Tan Kim Siang of Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre suggested I have a wrist surgery completed at PRMH which is how I learned about PRMH hospital in Singapore. His receptionists helped me book the operation at PRMH. He took his time to explain the details of the procedure and answered all of my questions. I was very comfortable with the preoperative, operative and postoperative care I received from Dr Aaron.
The wait time was acceptable. The reservation process was easy and straightforward. The initial impression of the clinic was nice and clean. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.
