Beautiful library with huge collection of books. We go often to this place for borrowing books. Kids section is very colourful and lively with kids. There are huts like structures for sitting and many spaces to study.

For those that study or intend to do work on their laptop, i strongly advise you against coming here to Bedok library. Yes the design might be spectacular but functionality-wise, there is no power outlet for laptops or handphone charging at the tables, you will need to go to the charging stations or workstations which are limited and not always available. The wifi is free and accessible, however my purpose of going to the library was to do academic research online, but with no power to charge my laptop, my time there was greatly wasted. The staff were helpful but could only offer alternative suggestions such as going elsewhere to study or work. I feel that the library should cater to the needs of the students and provide power outlets at study tables for laptops and handphones as this is an essential need for many students in this digital age. The design of the library is beautiful and inspiring, but the lack of functionality for students and working people is a major drawback.

The Bedok Public Library is a beautiful library with a wide range of books. My family and I often visit to borrow books and the kids section is particularly great.
