Barood reviews
Tried the Taste of Barood set menu, and it’s really good. Highlights include the Morel Truffle Tostada, Goat Biryani Arancini, and my favourite — the Malabar Sloppy Joe. It’s my second time, and the quality has been consistent! I also love the ambiance, it reminds me of dining in some James Bond film set. Worth a visit!
Just upstairs from Revolver is this amazing tapas bar. Loved the atmosphere and every bite. The sloppy joe definitely brought back memories as kid, but it definitely didn’t like this in the school cafeteria. Will definitely go back for more!
Was super intrigued with the concept of Barood being an Indian/Latin/izakaya style speak easy restaurant. The venue is super nice, cosy and stylish and sets the scene for a great evening. Unfortunately the expectations took a serious nose …

Was super intrigued with the concept of Barood being an Indian/Latin/izakaya style speak easy restaurant. The venue is super nice, cosy and stylish and sets the scene for a great evening. Unfortunately the expectations took a serious nose dive once the food/drinks started being served. It’s a novel blend of different cuisines, but the execution is mediocre and underwhelming. The dishes had no real wow factor, and the flavors didn’t harmonize well together. Service was efficient but the staff lacked warmth. Overall, a disappointing experience.
The atmosphere and decor at Barood is amazing. It's a great place to have a date night or a casual dinner with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. The Taste of Barood set menu is a must-try. The Morel Truffle Tostada and Goat Biryani Arancini are especially outstanding. I highly recommend Barood for a unique and enjoyable dining experience.
