I will be forever grateful to Cheng Kooi for many reasons. First and foremost, he transformed an old house into a beautiful and functional multigenerational home where three generations spent many happy years. Not only does he have great talent as an architect, but he also displays great empathy and sensitivity for the occupants and their needs. Second, he is very meticulous and detailed in his work and takes great pride in delivering a great result. Thirdly and most importantly, he is trustworthy and I never had to worry about our hard-earned savings for the projects that he has done for us. There were many projects that he went beyond his official task, offering solutions for urgent matters during and after office hours, or even arranging jobs not within his official responsibility so as to help complete the project smoothly and to our satisfaction. His staff is also the same, very helpful, professional, and demonstrated similar traits as him.
