I accompanied my wife to the AIA Customer Service Centre last week. She was trying to recover the remaining amount from her personal policies. The rules and regulations provided by AIA Customer Service were lousy and stupid. As a Singapore PR, my wife was not allowed to uncross the cheque, only foreigners can. She was also informed that she needed to open a bank account in Singapore to bank-in the cheque. This was inconvenient as we are not currently staying and working in Singapore. Overall, a frustrating experience.
The telephone operators at AIA are the worst. They do not have enough knowledge on their job and end up giving me another contact in AIA to call. After 3 attempts, I still did not get the assistance I needed. I would rate them a -5 if I could. Terrible customer service.
I visited the AIA Customer Service Centre to recover the remaining amount from my personal policies. The rules and regulations provided by AIA were inconvenient. As a Singapore PR, I was not allowed to uncross the cheque, only foreigners can. I was also told that I needed to open a bank account in Singapore to bank-in the cheque. This was not mentioned in the terms and conditions. Overall, a frustrating experience.

The customer service at AIA is very poor. They do not have enough knowledge and kept transferring me between different departments. It was frustrating and a waste of time. I would not recommend AIA to anyone.
I had a terrible experience with AIA's customer service. The representatives were unhelpful and did not provide accurate information. It took multiple attempts to get the assistance I needed. I would not recommend AIA to others.
