51 Old Airport Road Char Kway Teow reviews
I bought both char kway teow, this one and the one across and did an A/B comparison just so I know the truth. Unfortunately my immediate reaction was that this one is mediocre in taste and texture in my opinion, mushy and underwhelming. …
Traditional Singaporean style Char Kway Teow that is rich in colours and flavours. Although it lacked of wok-hei taste, but still extremely flavorful, due to the crispy pork lard and their noodles are on the drier version. Each pack is only $4.00, which is quite affordable. Still worth to visit them.
VERDICT: SHOULD TRY - YOU COULD BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! It has all the requisite taste and texture. Somewhat more generous than Lau Fu Zhi actually a competitor nearby. After savoueing thi.actually kinda like this more than Lau Fu Zhi. The stall helper even aks how much lard to be added, which is a nice touch.
